The Blast Gauge System is a set of three wearable overpressure sensors for the head, shoulder and chest that captures the wearer´s blast exposure.
The Generation 7.0 Wireless Blast Gauge® System, a personnel mounted surveillance system deployed on ground forces in both training and operations for detection, measurement, and recording of blast overpressure and acceleration forces, documenting long-term trends of blast exposure and minimizing risk of blast related traumatic brain injury (bTBI).
The system is comprised of a 3-sensor set worn on the head, shoulder, and chest with a personal computer software application and features secure, optional wireless connectivity for instant data transmission to smart devices running iOS or Android™, enabling faster, proactive decisions that could reduce the risk of bTBI. Instant exposure data can be accessed wirelessly via the mobile application, or with a button press on the gauge, emitting a discreet visual cue with green, yellow, or red status LEDs. A micro-USB connection and optional wireless connectivity allows full timebased data to be accessed by medical personnel for detailed post-event analysis.
